Happy New Year! As a first year charter school, I am so proud and pleased that Thunderbird Preparatory Academy has already received much recognition throughout our community for its remarkable success in just half a year. My heart feels such joy knowing that our children are happy while flourishing to become leaders. I am so grateful to our amazing staff who endured the growing pains of opening a new school and have grown as leaders. We hired the best and they truly are shining stars. I also feel so very grateful to our parents. I personally have felt your support and so has our staff. We are all learning and growing together. My commitment in providing a top notch education for your child remains my primary focus.

Our Food Drive Helped the Local Community. Thanks for Your Contributions.
Our families have donated hundreds of canned and boxed food items that were delivered to the Loaves and Fishes food pantry. Thank you for helping to make a difference in our community.

Have you ever wondered why our outdoor area looks so nice and well-maintained? Brandon Morris, with Mint Landscaping, is a TPA parent who volunteers his services, such as mowing, leaf blowing, and other landscaping for the school's exterior space. During the holiday break, he sent a crew to mow, blow turf and do an entire clean up for the parking area, including trimming all of the shrubs. Thank you, Brandon and Mint Landscaping, for making everything look good for the new year!

Partner With Us
Dear TPA families,
The Thunderbird Prep PTO is developing a corporate sponsorship program that will create a partnership between our local community and our school. We believe this can be a win-win for our school, students and businesses.
We would first like to identify TPA parents that are personally involved with businesses that may be willing to partner with our school. Some examples of needs we may have throughout the school year are gift cards to use as prizes for events, photography, landscaping, food/supplies for events, school materials, building supplies, a location to host an event or program, and much more. We would love to call on the interests, talents and strengths of our parents before we look elsewhere.
The PTO will also be creating a direct sponsorship program in the near future. This program will offer the opportunity for businesses to sponsor a specific program, event or curriculum need. In exchange, the business would receive promotional pieces such a newsletter advertising, acknowledgement at the event when applicable and signage at the school or at an event. We will need sponsors for our Spring 5K and fun run, in particular.
Please let us know how you would like to get involved!
Thank you for your consideration,
Ellen Morgan, Corporate Relationships chairperson
